Folks, I was happy to see some level of class participation today. Keep it up! At the least, it's easier to stay awake when you are participating in the class.

1. I think the materials that are going to cover require more than 12 weeks( may be 18 weeks).
2. It is a wrong assumption that" hard books help students learn better because they study more to digest". Learning is a process that complete step by step (education in each field should start from easy books).
Regarding your points, this is more a forum for asking questions.
The material in the course has been given for the past several years. If you want to take an engineering program that will eventually result in obtaining a P.Eng., then you need to cover the material. If you think an additional course would be beneficial, approach the department. I tend to agree with this thought.
Your quoted text does not match what I said, and as well, what I said was obviously meant to be a joke (to anyone with a sense of humor!).
